Join us for the National Skills Week 2026 WA State Launch — a dynamic full-day event combining the WA State Kick Off with the WorldSkills Competition. **Run Sheet (subject to change):** 8:30 am — WorldSkills Competition Commences Witness Australia's top young tradespeople and technicians compete across a range of skills disciplines. 10:00 am — Formalities Commence: WA State Kick Off for National Skills Week Introduction by Neil Le Febvre, including acknowledgement of VIPs. 10:30–11:00 am — Keynote Address from the Minister A keynote address on skills, training and workforce development in Western Australia. 11:00–11:30 am — Panel Discussion: "Life Changing" A panel discussion exploring the 2026 National Skills Week theme — how skills training changes lives, industries and communities. 11:30 am–12:00 pm — Presentations Presentations covering National Skills Week highlights, WorldSkills Australia, and the Open Day program. 12:00 pm — Lunch & Networking Lunch for all attendees, including a walk-around of sponsor marquees and the opportunity to view the WorldSkills Competition in action. 4:00 pm (approx.) — WorldSkills Competition Concludes The Open Day runs throughout the day, giving visitors the chance to explore training facilities, speak with industry partners, and discover pathways in vocational education and training.
